Discrimination in class
Ms.
Jane Eliott a third grade teacher gave her students an experience of how to be
discriminated and demonstrated the effects of prejudicing even on small
children. She convinced the students that blue eye people are superior to brown
eye so, a sense of discrimination was put into their minds. The results were
bad as she said"I watched marvelous cooperative children turn into
vicious discriminative little third graders in space of fifteen minutes". And that demonstrated how discrimination can also affect our academic
level. The feeling of superiority or inferiority changes our performance
psychologically into the better or the worse.
